About the Property

A traditional style log cabin situated by the River Liddle where there is fishing. Suitable for people who enjoy walking and cycling in the beautiful Scottish Borders countryside.

On entering the cabin there is a boiler cupboard on the left and the family shower room on the right.  Straight ahead there is the second bedroom which is large enough for bunk beds or a small double.

On entering to the left is the main sitting room and kitchen and dining area.  The ceiling to this part of the lodge is  into the eves which gives it a nice spacious feeling.  There is a log burner on one wall which when lit makes this whole area very cosy.  There are two sofas in the sitting area with a rush mat.  The floor is wooden.

The kitchen/dining area is compact and very convenient to work.  Although there is no washing machine there is plumbing for one.

The main bedroom is at the other end of the cabin with a roomy ensuite with shower.  The woodwork has been painted in a pleasant Farrow and Ball French grey.  There is an iron bed and wardrobe complete with two matching bedside tables.
