The park is located at Juliots Well near Camelford, between Padstow and Bude set in 33 acres of rolling countryside. Nearby the villages of Trebarwith Strand, Boscastle, Tintagel and Port Isaac are easily accessible.

Local attractions include the Camel Trail hiking and cycle route, Davidstow Airfield Heritage Museum, Rough Tor on the edge of Bodmin Moor and the Vale of Avalon Arthurian Centre.

Just across the road from the lodge is Bowood Park Hotel and Golf Club with bar and restaurant, set amid 230 acres of picturesque hills and woodland. The golf club meets USGA standards and is open year round. On the park is a children's play area and launderette. In the new leisure centre you will find an indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and gymnasium with a Starbucks coffee lounge to relax in. Nearby is also the famous Tintagel Brewery for meals and shopping.
